GET ON THE GOBBLE!

Gobble Sticky is a liquid bait gel that can be used on all manner of lures including metal, wood, hard and soft plastics (as well as natural baits). Simply apply a line of Gobble Sticky on each side of your lure and you’re good to go. The gel will adhere best on dry lures, so give them a quick wipe with a paper towel or similar first.

Re-apply when needed. If there is a lot of gel left on the lure you can wipe it off before packing down. It adheres really well thanks to the molecular ‘stickyness’ and will last 10-30 casts.

Gobble Bait is developed and manufactured in Norway. The contents are 100% biodegradable.

USE IT ON BAIT

Although designed for use on artificial lures we have experienced excellent results when applying it to natural baits, such as lugworm, mackerel and squid. Either apply it directly to a freshly baited rig, or put your chosen baits in a box and marinade them for a few hours or overnight, which will make the scent last even longer. It’s also easy to apply to your beads or other attractors, or even your lead to boost attraction.

WHAT’S IN GOBBLE BAIT

Gobble Sticky is complex mix of attractants and stimulants that will attract fish and make them grab and hold onto your lure.
It is a mix of multiple singular molecules and natural extracts, including amino acids, nucleotides, electrolytes, carboxylic acids, pheromones, taste substances and natural extracts.

These are mixed with a powerful, natural and edible ‘Sticky’ binder, which is attractive to many species in its own right. We have also added natural UV active pigments that will help many species of fish find the bait in dark or murky water.

Natural extracts: These are concentrates made from fish, crustaceans, mussels and other natural feed sources. Most of the water and other unwanted substances have been removed so we are left with the most potent fractions to greatly enhance the scent and flavour.

Amino acids:  The building blocks of protein. These smell little or nothing to us, but fish can smell these in water. Some of these are very powerful attractants to fish in low concentration.

Nucleotides: These substances are what DNA is made of, and they can be found in meat, fish and many other places in nature. Some of these are attractive to fish and are particularly effective in combination with certain amino acids.

Carboxylic acids: Organics acids that are part of the cycle in all living organisms. Many of these taste and smell good to most fish species, especially in combinations.

Electrolytes: Different minerals and salts that is found in the fishes prey. Taste good to the fish and make the fish hold on to the lure for a longer time.

Pheromones: A common term for substances released by different animals to affect the behaviour of others of the same species. These can be used in spawning, to attract others or as a warning when they get hurt. Some of these have the potential to attract fish at a long distance.

Flavour compounds: Various volatile substances found in the fishes natural feed sources. We have enhanced the concentration of some of these to pull fish in from a longer distance.

Plant extracts: Some plants have been proven to attract fish and/or increase their feed intake. The ones we have tested and found effective are found in our products.

UV active compounds: Many fish can see colors in a wider spectrum than humans. We have added natural pigments that sometimes help the fish see the lure in dark or murky water.

SUSTAINABILITY

We have put a lot of effort into making the bait and the packaging as sustainable as possible. The main ingredients are byproducts from food and feed and we use sustainable sources. We have also excluded a lot of products that are classed as sustainable such as krill and wild fish products. This because we feel we find it wise to minimize harvesting from the bottom of the food chain. The packaging is recycled cardboard and aluminium tubes are used to minimise the use of plastic.

TESTIMONIALS

I’ve been trialling Gobble Sticky throughout the summer of 2024, and I’m absolutely blown away by the results my mates and I have been having. In my 30+ years of working in sea fishing magazine publishing, I’ve seen it all come and go. Not naming names, but most of the previous “wonder baits and attractants” I’ve seen over the years have been developed in fish tanks in Japan or America. Not so with Gobble Bait, this stuff has been in development for over five years, and it has been rigorously tested and tweaked in the Fjords of Norway. You only have to watch some of the test videos to see just how effective it is, but don’t just take my word for it, give it a go and decide for yourself.
